This is a statue in honor of the hero from the land of the dragons Spyro The Dragon . Spyro was and still one of the iconic mascots from the playstation 1 and playstation 2 era.
The original trilogy was made by Insomniac Games who re known for their work on Spiderman (Ps4), Miles Morales (Ps5) and Ratchet & Clank(ps1-ps5) and many others. In 2018
Toys for BOB made sure to remaster some of the old gems, starting with Crash Bandicoot and then proceeding on creating Spyro The reignated Trilogy . In order to honor the
return of the beast First 4 Figure made a statue for all the fans of the series who wish to have their little purple friend decorating their house. The figure is 20 cm (8 inches), weights
around 2 pounds and is fully made of PVC. The statue contains 3 pieces but comes in 1 package.

Although Spyro is a dragon, he is not scary. He looks adorable and cute. He is a small dragonoid coloured in orange and purple. His facial expression, and infact the whole
character looks like he was taken straight out of the video game. Spyro has a a huge smile throughout his face. He has big eyes of purple and violet colour that re being
hugged by his eyebrows. On his peak in between his eyes his nosestrills are sculpted with extra colouring inside used for shading in order to portrayed depth.
On top of his head he has his two horns that he is using as a weapon to attack enemies within the game. The colouring detail on them are exceptional the usage of yellow
and orange re used together alonside black lines that form a specific patterm on them. These black lines pther than the repeated pattern they re also seemed scattered
around showcasing that they re constantly beeing used and they re most certainly used in the battelfield. In between his horns and starting close to the eyebrows, his
pteride is following a path that goes all the way to the back of Spyro's neck, which can be seen as spyro having a mohawk hairstyle. It's main colour is yellow and
near the root of them it has an orange layer, showcasing that it started orange but the more it extends, it turns yellow.
On the lower part, there is the body, the hands and the wings. Spyro's full body is mainly consist of Purple. His legs are entirely purple and his main body from the upper side
is purple. The orange side part of Spyros body is from the front and lower part which is his belly and follows all the way to it's tail. Adding a final touch on Spyro's tail is his
tornado style peak which is painted orange. The belly part of spyro is extremely similar to the coloer pallet of his horns. The colouring and patterns are extremely similar with
the exception of the random scattered black lines. Last but not least , the final orange part of Spyro's body is his wings. The skeleton of the wings is mainly painted yellow
with slight orange elements however the rest part is the correct oposide mainly orange with slightly yellow. At this point it should be mention theres another version of the same figure
where the dragonfly known as Sparks who is a friend of spyro is placed on his right wing.
Spyro's purple is filled with different spots of deeper purple colour. These spots can be seen throughout his body, his head, legs, paws, arms, neck and tail. Although they're
plenty and randomly scattered around his body none of them seem to be following a specific pattern and their sizes vary from each other. On his back starting from the wings and following
from where his pteride left Spyro has a number of spikes heading all the way down to his tail. His paws consist of four toes and four nails on each. His right front paw is placed on top of
a red gem. Gems re the type of currency within the game but it's also something that dragons are attracted by. This gem is approximately 4 cm tall, however because it is placed vertically
it doesnt look as tall.
The last piece of the statue is ofcourse the base. From the above, Spyro and the gem seemed to be placed on top of a rocky area. However the rocks seem to be of purple colour while the main ground is
a pinkinsh version of lilac. The height of the base of the figure is approximatelly 1 cm tall. The total length is around 13cm wich makes it's radious equal to 6.5 cm. At the bottom of the base and
placed on center its spyro's face accompanied with his name and the name of the series placed above him. Above the game's logo first4figure have their trademark and brand name since they re the ones
who made it. Below Spyro's face on the other hand, Activision along side other respective owners have their rights are sculpted on it.
About the Series
Spyro The Draon is a 3D Platform game developed by Insomniac games for the playstation 1 console back in 1998. The series follow Spyro a young dragonoid from the land of the dragons who is accompanied
by his best friend Sparx the Dragonfly.Spyro's original journey was made by Insomniac games . Later in the 2000s (between 2006 -2008) The franchise was rebooted by krome studios and it was called the legend of Spyro trilogy which wasn't as well received as the original. After that Spyro joined the Skylander franchise in which he stayed for a long time. Unfortunately after a long run
Skylanders was confirmed to be stopped as the developers and the sales weren't profitable. There have been rumors for a reboot 4 years later in 2021 buts its unknown. On the bright side Spyro the dragon was
made a huge comeback in 2018 with the release of Spyro The reignited trilogy which is a remaster of the original trilogy made by Toys for Bob in colaboration with Insomniac who were the original
developers.
